Arend Brügge, born 1957, CEO and Managing Partner Vega-Reederei GmbH & Co. KG. After qualifying as a shipping merchant by the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, he joined the Vega-Reederei in 1982. He is responsible for the overall strategy, focusing on fleet development, insurance and crewing projects, shaping the company from 1996 onwards.
Torsten Brügge, born 1965, Managing Partner of Vega-Reederei GmbH & Co. KG. After qualifying as a shipping merchant by the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, he joined the Vega-Reederei in 1989. He is responsible for the commercial operation of the fleet, heading the chartering and operations departments.
Daniel Velte, born 1966, Managing Partner of Vega-Reederei GmbH & Co. KG. He qualified as Diplom-Kaufmann (german equivalent to an MBA)in 1988, working in the field of Product Management in the consumer goods industry before turning to ship finance and real estate in 1999 with Lloyd Fonds ( General Manager) and Fondshaus Hamburg (Managing Partner). He joined Vega Reederei in 2006, responsible for marketing and sales.
Arne Brügge, born 1983, General Manager of Vega-Reederei GmbH & Co. KG. After qualifying as a shipping merchant by the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, he joined the Vega-Reederei in 2000, after sailing onboard of different vessels of the fleet. He is responsible for the procurement and technical supervision of the fleet, as well as for the technical and commercial aspects of the Sale & Purchase deals.
